"Tugu Muda" Semarang
Tugu Muda is one of stone monument in Semarang, Central Java. Javanese people are commemorating the struggle for independence by Indonesian Youth. The memorable situation in that time. It was dedicated by President Sukarno on 20 Mei 1953 to commemorate the continuous five-day battle between the youth generaation of Semarang and a Japanese battalion led by Major Kido. The battle start from 14 October until 19 October 1945.
Now, for commemorate every year on 20 Mei, Javanese people and youth generation make theatrical atraction a story of five-day battle in Semarang
